At the 56th General Assembly held in Tampa Bay, Florida, Iowa College # 37 attained the recognition of an "Honor College" for the 2012-2013 year. (To become an Honor College, the college must score 100 points or more on the Activity Sheet. -Lewis & Clark College scored 117 points.
The Order of the Purple Cross of York, the highest honor of the York Rite College. It is conferred upon those members of the College who have distinguished themselves by their service to humanity or to the Rite, The recipients are designated Associate Regents of the Sovereign College, and from their ranks are chosen the Regents or active members of that body. There are two Colleges in Iowa. Members marked with a + are dual members of both Iowa College and Lewis and Clark College.
